Adults Share the Most Dadlike Things Their Dads Have Ever Done

The relationship between a person and their dad is one of those things that many would rather save for unpacking in therapy. However, many of us are fortunate enough to have at least some good or funny memories surrounding the dude who gave us life and/or helped to raise us. 

The essence of stereotypical dadness is a peculiar thing, a mixture of poorly expressed emotion and terrible jokes. Sometimes it's terrible, sometimes it's wonderful, and most of all it's guaranteed to spawn some very memorable moments.

This is the philosophy shared by a recent Twitter thread, asking individuals to share the best dad moments that their dad ever shared with them. There were a range of responses, all united with varying levels of humor and an acknowledgement of the strangeness that comes with our male parental figures. It's true that there are plenty of deadbeats out there, but most of the guys in these examples seem just fine.
